To ask the Deputy Prime Minister how much each local authority spent on electoral registration per elector in the latest period for which figures are available.

The Electoral Commission has published financial data for each local authority in Great Britain, covering the 2007-08 and 2008-09 financial years. Information on the 2009-10 financial year will be published on its website in July 2011.
