To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs what his policy is on the conventions which apply to the nationalities of candidates for leading positions at (a) the World Bank and (b) the International Monetary Fund.

At the G20 summit in Toronto last year, Leaders affirmed the commitment to open, transparent and merit-based selection of their heads and senior leadership of international financial institutions, such as the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund (IMF).
