To ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer how much accrued to the Exchequer from empty property business rates in the last 12 months.

The Government do not hold information on the amount of business rates raised from empty properties in England.

The Government publish data on empty property rate relief, received by owners of empty non-domestic properties. The latest figures can be found at:
