To ask the Secretary of State for Transport pursuant to the answer of 22 November 2010, Official Report, column 32W, on transport: finance, when he intends to publish up-to-date business case information for Highways Agency major schemes; and if he will make a statement.

Following the Secretary of State for Transport’s announcement in October 2010 and his commitment to publish the business case for each scheme, the business cases for each individual scheme were published on 30 December 2010 and are available to view on the Highways Agency website. The Department for Transport’s website has also published guidance to help the public understand the business cases and how they were used to make ministerial decisions.
