To ask the Secretary of State for International Development what steps he is taking to assist aid workers in Misrata.

During the two month siege of Misrata by Gaddafi's forces, the UK provided essential support to humanitarian organisations. This included food, medical supplies and personnel. We also supported the evacuation of 5,000 people stranded at the port.
