To ask the Secretary of State for Defence how much his Department expects to spend on the (a) Joint Strike Fighter Autonomic Logistics, (b) Joint Strike Fighter Autonomic Logistics Global Sustainment System, (c) Joint Strike Fighter Autonomic Logistics Information System, (d) Joint Strike Fighter Air Vehicles and (e) Joint Strike Fighter Lightning II Pilot and Maintenance Training Systems.

I refer the hon. Member to the answer I gave on 23 May 2011, Hansard, column 392W. The total cost of the component systems of the Joint Strike Fighter will be determined when the main investment decision point is made. Publishing such details at this early stage would undermine the Department’s commercial position.
