To ask Her Majesty's Government what assessment they have made of the resignation of 18 members of the Bahraini parliament, and its impact on the legitimacy of that parliament.

We are concerned by the resignation of 18 members of the Bahraini parliament. We urge the Bahraini Government to create the environment in which a dialogue can take place and we call on all sides, including the political Opposition, to engage. It is only through collaboration, dialogue and a continuation of the political reform process that long-term stability can be achieved in Bahrain.
