A working group which includes representatives from the Government, the Environment Agency, the insurance industry and other organisations is looking at a range of potential flood insurance models for the future, and has agreed a set of common principles for how a future model should function. Any potential models will be assessed against these criteria. The criteria will be set out in the working group's interim report, which is due to be published shortly.
