To ask the Secretary of State for Health what procedures are in place to monitor the implementation of the recommendations in “Best Practice for Ensuring the Efficient Supply and Distribution of Medicines to Patients”, published by his Department in February 2011.

Best Practice for Ensuring the Efficient Supply and Distribution of Medicines to Patients” was published in February jointly by the Medicines Supply Chain Group. The Department carefully monitors data about supply problems to see if patients are being harmed because of delays in the supply of medicines.
