To ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer what recent assessment he has made of the likelihood of a double-dip recession.

The UK returned to positive growth in the first quarter of this year. The Government have always been clear that the recovery will be choppy, but the independent Office for Budget Responsibility and all other credible forecasters, including NIESR released just last week, are very clear that the UK recovery will continue.
