To ask Her Majesty's Government what was (a) the revenue expenditure, and (b) the approved revenue resource limit, for each hospital trust (including foundation trusts) in the East of England region of the National Health Service in each of the past five years for which information is available.

The information is not available in the format requested. Such information as is available has been placed in the Library.

The department does not collect data from National Health Service foundation trusts. Where an NHS trust obtains foundation trust status part-way through any year, the data provided is only for the part of the year in which the organisation operated as an NHS trust.
