To ask Her Majesty's Government what are their marketing plans for promoting tourism in the Turks and Caicos Islands.

Following the introduction of three additional airlines flying from the US and Canada into Providenciales (WestJet, JetBlue and Continental), the Turks and Caicos Islands Tourist Board is now looking at other markets. These include Europe, South America and the Caribbean, where a significant growth in two-centre holidays is anticipated. The board is confident that the 2010-11 growth in tourist numbers will be maintained and enhanced.
