To ask the Secretary of State for International Development what the cost to the public purse was of the UK's official development assistance in the last year for which figures are available.

UK Official Development Assistance (ODA) in 2010 is estimated at £8.4 billion. Details of estimated 2010 ODA are published on the Department for International Development (DFID) website at:

Final UK ODA figures will be published later in the year in DFID's publication ‘Statistics on International Development’ which will also be posted on DFID's website.
