To ask Her Majesty's Government what assessment they have made of the impact on lower-income families of their proposal that legal aid will no longer be available in divorce cases except where there has been domestic violence.

To ask Her Majesty's Government whether they have carried out an equalities impact assessment in relation to their plans to withdraw legal aid in divorce cases; and, if so, what was the result.

The impact assessments and equality impact assessments published alongside the consultation paper contain estimates of the potential impacts of the proposals.
