To ask the Minister for the Cabinet Office what the cost to the public purse was of the (a) procurement and (b) outsourcing function of (i) his Department and (ii) each (A) agency, (B) non-departmental public body and (C) non-ministerial department for which he is responsible in the last financial year for which figures are available.

The costs are as follows. In all cases the outsourcing function is covered by the procurement function; not as a discrete function.
