To ask the Secretary of State for Work and Pensions how many people in each region were referred for job training by Jobcentre Plus to a training provider in the last 12 months for which figures are available; and what proportion this represented of the number of those on jobseeker's allowance in each region.
The information requested is as follows:
Number of referrals to contracted employment provision from April 2009 to March 2010 by region and the number of individuals who had an active claim for jobseeker's allowance at any point between April 2009 and March 2010 | |||||
