To ask the Secretary of State for Health whether he has assessed the risk that patients may be refused care that they were previously entitled to following the implementation of the provisions of the Health and Social Care Bill.
The requirement to promote a comprehensive health service free at the point of use, first set out in the NHS Act 1946, is unchanged by the provisions of the Health and Social Care Bill.
