To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department what recent assessment she has made of cases involving the sexual grooming of girls from children's homes; and if she will make a statement.
No specific assessment has yet been carried out of cases of this kind. However, the Child Exploitation and Online Protection (CEOP) Centre have recently begun to conduct a thematic assessment of the nature and scale of child sexual exploitation in the UK as a whole. The results of the study will be published in due course.
