To ask the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs how much of each type of land owned by the Forestry Commission in each parliamentary constituency in Northamptonshire has been (a) sold or (b) leased in each of the last 10 years; and what public access conditions were stipulated in each case.
The information on land sales is held at County level. The following table shows those areas of land sold by the Forestry Commission in Northamptonshire in the last 10 years, its status, and where access on foot has been dedicated under the provisions in the Countryside and Rights of Way Act.

Why is access only ever for people on foot? There are lots of people who need safe places to ride or to go carriage driving. These are enjoyable and worthwhile pursuits and they need to be encouraged.
