To ask Her Majesty's Government whether they will take steps to prevent social contact between media owners and representatives and Ministers ahead of any competition investigations into media ownership.

All Ministers are aware of, and abide by, the Ministerial Code. Section 7 states: "Ministers must ensure that no conflict arises, or could reasonably be perceived to arise, between their public duties and their private interests, financial or otherwise".
