To ask the Secretary of State for Culture, Olympics, Media and Sport pursuant to the answer of 13 January 2011, Official Report, column 387W on HMS Victory 1744, what steps he has taken to monitor and protect the wreck site of HMS Victory pending the publication of the joint response.

The wreck is that of a sovereign immune state vessel, which means that no intrusive action may be taken without the express consent of Her Majesty's Government.
