To ask the Secretary of State for Defence what information his Department holds on the number of sub-contracted staff servicing his Department who were not paid at a rate equivalent to or above the London living wage in the latest period for which figures are available.

All Ministry of Defence (MOD) contracts let in the UK are governed by UK law. There is a statutory obligation for UK employers to pay the national minimum wage. The MOD does not collect information about the wage rates paid by its contractors in London.
