To ask the Secretary of State for Health what information his Department holds on the number of subcontracted staff servicing his Department who were not paid at a rate equivalent to or above the London living wage in the latest period for which figures are available.

The information is not held centrally. The Department holds two contracts with suppliers for the provision of cleaning, catering, security and other facilities management services to the Department's London estate. The contracts are awarded through a competitive tender process based on the best overall value for money solution for the Department.
