To ask the Secretary of State for Health how many GPs in Wolverhampton received over £100,000 from the NHS in the most recent 12 months for which figures are available.

Details of individual general practitioners (GPs) earning over £100,000 in the national health service for Wolverhampton are not collected centrally.

The most up-to-date information on the overall numbers of GPs earning in excess of £100,000 is contained within the 'GP Earnings and Expenses 2008-09 Final Report', published by the Health and Social Care Information Centre on 12 January 2011.

A copy of the publication has been placed in the Library.
