To ask the Secretary of State for Defence how much funding his Department allocated to the Service Complaints Commissioner in (a) 2007-08, (b) 2008-09 and (c) 2009-10,

The role of Service Complaints Commissioner came into being on 1 January 2008 and annual reports are published that contain details of expenditure. The following table provides information on the Ministry of Defence actual spend for calendar years 2008 and 2009. Expenditure relating to 2010 is currently being compiled.
