To ask the Secretary of State for Business, Innovation and Skills in respect of what projects in Sudan supported by the Export Credits Guarantee Department (ECGD) in the last 30 years debt is owed to the ECGD.

Sudan defaulted on its external debts in the late 1970s and ECGD has no record of providing support for any projects since then.

Secretary of State

Secretary of State was originally the title given to the two officials who conducted the Royal Correspondence under Elizabeth I. Now it is the title held by some of the more important Government Ministers, for example the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs.
