To ask Her Majesty's Government what consideration they have given to the report by the Caribbean Tourism Organisation entitled The Impact of Air Passenger Duty and Possible Alternatives for the Caribbean.
The Government are committed to exploring changes to the aviation tax system, including switching from a per-passenger duty to a per-plane duty. The Government have received representations on this matter from a range of organisations, including the Caribbean Tourist Organisation. Major changes in this area will be subject to consultation.
