The only figures the Department holds on the number of trade unionists killed in 2010 are the official figures referred to in the answer given by the Minister of State, Foreign and Commonwealth Office, Mr Browne to the hon. Member on 8 November 2010, Hansard, column 85W. Since that answer we have received an update from the Colombian authorities to cover the period from January to October which suggests 25 trade unionists were killed.
