The Secretary of State for Scotland has written to, and remains in contact with, a number of organisations representing groups most likely to be affected by any change to British summer time, to seek their views. As the Prime Minister has already made clear, there can be no change to existing policy without the agreement of all parts of the United Kingdom, including Scotland. That agreement is not in place.
