To ask the Secretary of State for Justice whether he plans to introduce a court or tribunal for the purpose of hearing cases relating to benefit fraud.

The Ministry of Justice has no plans to introduce a special court or tribunal to hear cases relating to benefit fraud. Benefit fraud is a criminal offence and such cases are currently dealt with in the criminal courts, either the magistrates court or the Crown court depending on the degree of seriousness of the offence.
