To ask the Secretary of State for Culture, Olympics, Media and Sport how much his Department spent on hospitality for events hosted by each of its Ministers in (a) September and (b) October 2010.

All expenditure on hospitality is made in accordance with published departmental guidance, based on the principles set out in Managing Public Money.

Hospitality was provided for one event in September: an official function hosted by the Minister for Sport and the Olympics at a cost of £220.50.
