To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department what plans she has for the future consideration of immigration applications from students and others who have been affected by the recent floods in Pakistan.

We will continue to assess visa applications from Pakistan against the immigration rules. We will take into account any compelling compassionate circumstances when assessing individual visa applications, but we do not intend to relax the requirements.
