To ask the Secretary of State for Energy and Climate Change what estimate he has made of the number of redundancies arising from the spending reductions proposed in the comprehensive spending review in respect of (a) his Department, (b) its non-departmental public bodies and (c) other public bodies which are dependent on his Department for funding.

DECC has not made an estimate of the numbers of redundancies that may be required following the comprehensive spending review.

Reviews are currently under way to decide how the settlement will be implemented across the DECC family.
