To ask Her Majesty's Government how much was received per head of population in 2009-10 from central government by each local authority in England.

I have today placed in the Library of the House a table that gives the 2009-10 provisional data on central government grant received per head of population by each local authority in England.

The basis of distribution of central government grant to local authorities will vary between grants. It is not therefore meaningful to compare the amount each authority receives per head.
