To ask the Secretary of State for Health by what date he expects the NHS abdominal aortic aneurysm screening programme to have been fully rolled out; and if he will make a statement.

It is expected that full national roll out of the NHS abdominal aortic aneurysm screening programme will be completed by the end of 2012-13.

Secretary of State

Secretary of State was originally the title given to the two officials who conducted the Royal Correspondence under Elizabeth I. Now it is the title held by some of the more important Government Ministers, for example the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs.
