To ask Her Majesty's Government how many consultants have been appointed to help HM Treasury implement expenditure cuts; how many more appointments are planned; and what is the forecast overall cost.

There are a number of individual consultants contracted to, or seconded into, HM Treasury. However, as many parts of HM Treasury are involved in the spending review, the related number and cost of consultants cannot be easily identified without incurring disproportionate cost.
