To ask the hon. Member for Middlesbrough, representing the House of Commons Commission if the Commission will discuss with broadcasters the extension of the provision of subtitles in respect of broadcast proceedings of the House.

Subtitling is a matter for individual broadcasters. The Commission has no plans to discuss the issue, but the hon. Member may wish to raise it with the broadcasters himself.
