To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs what recent assessment he has made of the effectiveness of his Department's policy of exploring contacts with Hezbollah.
Our embassy in Beirut held very limited contacts with Hezbollah politicians before May 2010. We will be reviewing this issue, along with our wider Lebanon policy, in a careful and considered manner.
