Home Department written question – answered at on 19 July 2010.
To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department if she will commission a report from the Commissioner of Police for the Metropolis on the number and location of anti-Semitic incidents in London since December 2008; and if she will make a statement.
The Home Office is committed to tackling all hate crime. Data on anti-Semitic hate crime is collected by the Metropolitan police and provided to the Association of Chief Police Officers National Community Tension Team to ensure that current threats are closely monitored. We have no plans to commission a separate report from the Metropolitan Commissioner on this issue.
