To ask the Secretary of State for Business, Innovation and Skills what recent assessment his Department has made of the effect on the economy of increasing the number of women setting up businesses.
Estimates based on the latest available data indicate that an increase in the number of majority women-led businesses by 100,000 would lead to an additional £7 billion of annual output in the economy.
