As a result of the in-year reduction to core police funding in 2010-11, Leicestershire will see a total reduction of £1.8 million. Specific reductions to the core Home Office settlement are subject to parliamentary approval. However, even after this reduction has been made Leicestershire will still receive an increase of 1.4% in core Government funding over 2009-10.

Future funding will be determined by the Spending Review.
