To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department with reference to the Chancellor of the Exchequer's announcement of 24 May 2010 and pursuant to the answer of 7 June 2010, Official Report, column 69W, on public expenditure: Wales, if she will provide details of her Department's non-devolved public expenditure savings that will be incurred in Wales, including an estimate of the financial savings.

The Home Office made a contribution of £367 million to the £6 billion in-year public expenditure savings announced by the Chancellor of the Exchequer on
Police funding for 2010-11 has been reduced by a total of £135 million of which £125 million was comprised of reductions to the core police grant and police capital grant. The remaining £10 million of the £135 million relates to a reduction in policing counter terrorism grants spread across England and Wales. This reduction was applied to forces in both England and Wales on the advice of ACPO (TAM) and agreed by the Home Office. The specific allocation of these grants is not put into the public domain for reasons of national security.
No other reductions have been made to Home Office budgets in 2010-11 which would have a specific impact on Wales.
