To ask Her Majesty's Government whether they will review the no-child policy applicable to United Kingdom-based diplomatic staff posted to Ashgabat and Dushanbe.

Our policy for our embassies in Ashgabat and Dushanbe, that the children of UK-based diplomats are unable to accompany them to post, is kept under close review. The decision to designate any of our overseas missions as no-child posts is taken very seriously and considers a range of factors.
