To ask Her Majesty's Government how much compensation has been paid to complainants for injuries suffered through the use of excessive force during attempts to remove them from the United Kingdom in the past five years.
The Home Office prepares its accounts in accordance with UK GAAP (generally accepted accounting principles) adapted for the public sector in accordance with guidance issued by HM Treasury.
The Home Office has previously reported the total amount of compensation payments made in its annual resource accounts. However, it is not possible to disaggregate these totals without incurring disproportionate costs.
