To ask the Secretary of State for Energy and Climate Change what estimate he has made of the level of carbon dioxide emissions per unit of electricity generated in the UK in each year since 1980.
Table 1 shows the grams of carbon dioxide emitted per unit of electricity generated by major power producers in the UK since 1980.
