To ask the Secretary of State for Energy and Climate Change how much employees paid in contributions to the Mineworkers' Pension Scheme between 1987 and 1994.

The Mineworkers' Pension Scheme became a closed scheme in 1994. The scheme, rather than this Department, is the custodian of information relating to employee members' contributions prior to that time. I would suggest that my hon. Friend direct his inquiry to:
