To ask the Minister of State, Department for Business, Innovation and Skills to which parts of the UK the proposed changes by the Intellectual Property Office to performance rights licence exemptions for not-for-profit groups will apply.

The current not-for-profit exemptions contained in the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988 apply to England and Wales; Scotland and Northern Ireland. Any change to those exemptions will apply to those parts of the UK.
