To ask the Minister for the Cabinet Office how much (a) her Department, (b) the Charity Commission and (c) the Central Office of Information have spent on font licensing in the last three years.

The Cabinet Office has not spent any money on the licensing of fonts in the last three years.

The Charity Commission has spent £184 + VAT per annum over the last three years.

The Chief Executive of the Central Office of Information has written to you separately with their answer.

Letter from Mark Lund, dated 2 February 2010:

asking how much has been spent on font licensing.

In the last three years we have spent £2,839 on the purchase of fonts. All fonts are licensed and are held on a font management system. There were no fonts centrally purchased by IT unit.
