The Government are currently assessing the complexity and practicality of the 199 proposals short-listed by the Local Government Association (LGA) in its role of Selector under the Sustainable Communities Act 2007.

The Government are also currently consulting and seeking to reach agreement with the LGA before deciding which proposals should be implemented. I will keep the House updated on our progress.
