To ask the Secretary of State for Work and Pensions for what reasons the £200 payment to pensioners to assist with council tax bills made in March 2005 has not been repeated.

We always made it clear that the Government's commitment was to make the £200 payment to help with council tax bills for the year 2005-06 only.
